I'm a fan of Stephen Jay Gould's works, and with him, I have learned a lot about the different cases of legal disputes concerning the teaching of evolution or creationism in the States. I'm so sad he could not witness the rise of Pastafarianism, a very wicked concept invented by really perverted scientists - I'm sure HPL would have liked this ironic way of "fighting back" (check this interesting article about HPL's view on evolution, and where you'll find reference to Lamarck and S.J.Gould - full circle... )
