"I did this piece for a webcomic of a local anime club (which is
usually more or less about our mishaps... and usually drawn by someone
much more talented than me). After reading your comic I just couldn't
help getting this image into my head ^^; And in case the term isn't
very widespread "summoning" here means to call someone with a mobile
phone when you're expecting them. Usually they tend to be just around
the corner when you do this hence the summoning term."
