As cleverly noticed by Bobbie D. - corrector: " there's a lot to be said for the truth of the joke; "The Dunwich Horror" is in many ways a pastiche of Arthur Machen's "The Great God Pan" which deliberately invoked the annunciation of Mary and the immaculate conception in the way Mary conceives a child after seeing Pan."
And also, I was in Barcelona last week-end, where I met all the people
