A sad day for Comic World. Albert Uderzo, overall known for having created the Gaul duo "Asterix and Obelix" with René Goscinny, just died, and for most french adults, it's a great loss. The vast majority of French people discovered the "Bande Dessiné" (comics) medium via the adventures of the small warrior and his big acolyte bringer of Menhir (painted here), fighting the Roman Empire with a lot of humor. Quite all houses had some copies of Asterix, published since 1959. I had chance to quickly discover other creators and universes, but for most, it's still a strong symbol of the Franco-Belgian Comics wave.
