True Strip, a crossover this time. I've been a great fan of Clive Barker's works since the "Books of Blood" or "The Damnation Game". Hellraiser movie was an incredible visual shock, and Pinhead is now an obvious pop-culture Icon.
I've been using this kind of morbid, bloody and sharp imagery for some past works, such as illustrations I made for the "Kult" RPG.
Lovecraft was original because he "decentered" horror from humanity, creating something beyond the traditional "gothic" notion of sin. Barker came back to the traditional image of inner hell, but with his own twisted style.
