Or is it a Sequel? Or a Reboot? Who knows? Don't get me wrong, some A24's recent "elevated" horror films were quite good, from "The Witch" (driven by A.Taylor-Joy and Black Phillip's charisma) to "Hereditary" (an original tale of familial drama and demonical possession). "Midsommar" is good variation on Folk horror, and "The Lighthouse" has some serious lovecraftian vibes. But we're still waiting for the ultimate Lovecraft tribute.
I will take my summer break in French Jungle, but it won't change the slow publication rate. Since last summer, I've been through a lot of slowing circonstances, let's hope for more productivity soon.
